Prince Charming – 5-Year-Old Miniature Gelding

Meet Prince Charming! This handsome little sorrel gelding stands approximately 33 inches tall and is estimated to be around 5 years old.

Prince Charming has been with us for approximately 5–6 months, during which time we've put a lot of work into his handling, manners, and overall care. He's come a long way and is now ready to find a wonderful new home!

Here's what Prince Charming has to offer:

• Leads and handles well with regular handling

• Has been used for leadline rides with my 3-year-old daughter and 2 year old son

• Accepts a saddle and rider

• Loads in a trailer

• Stands for grooming and handling

• Allows all four feet to be picked up and trimmed

• Accustomed to children and everyday ranch activities

• Does well in a stall/run and with daily turnout

• Generally pretty easy to catch, although he occasionally likes to play hard to get

Prince Charming has a lot of personality and is an adorable little guy! Like many ponies, he can occasionally test boundaries, but he's made tremendous progress with consistent handling.

​

He has been wonderful for supervised leadline rides with my daughter, but he has not been trained or tested for independent riding. He would be best suited for a family willing to continue his education and reinforce good manners.

​

With his small size, beautiful flaxen mane and tail, and experience around children, he could make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a leadline pony, companion, or future riding prospect with continued training.
